College events bring students together.
They create opportunities to perform, compete, organise, volunteer and simply have fun.
Music. Dance. Drama. Literary activities. Celebrations. College cultural programmes can bring together students from different backgrounds and interests. For participants, these events can become some of their favourite college memories.
Sports create a different kind of campus energy. Competition, teamwork, cheering from friends and the excitement of representing your college can make sporting events memorable. Sports can also create friendships between students who may otherwise never have met.
NCC is an important part of extracurricular life for students interested in discipline, leadership, physical activity and service. Training, camps, parades, teamwork and friendships can create memories that remain long after college.
NSS connects student life with community service. Community-oriented activities give students opportunities to participate in initiatives involving social awareness, environmental responsibility and service — a chance to experience college beyond the classroom.
A successful college event is rarely the work of one person.
